How do I request a private lesson or a small group private lesson?
Please message Philly Balboa on Facebook to request a private lesson slot.
All private lessons will be held on Sunday, May 19 in the Venetian Club. (Other times may be available on request). Nelle Cherry, David Lee, and Chelsea Lee have private lesson slots available. All Corey & Susan slots are reserved.
What are my housing options?
We recommend booking an AirBnB in Chestnut Hill. It is a small and very walkable neighborhood, so if you stay in CH you won't need a car to get around.
AirBnBs in Mount Airy and surrounding neighborhoods are also a good option, but you should expect to drive to get to the venue.
If you prefer a traditional hotel, the closest major hotel chains are in Plymouth Meeting or Fort Washington, a 10-15 minute drive away. Chestnut Hill Hotel is a luxury hotel option within walking distance of the venue.
What level are classes?
Phila-bal-phia is an open level workshop. Our instructors will be presenting content that is accessible and challenging for all levels.
Where do I eat?
There are lots of great restaurants a short walk from The Venetian Club, including:
Campbell's Place - Soups, sandwiches, and interesting starters with a pub-style interior.
El Poquito - Mexican food and great margaritas.
Baker Street Bread - Local bakery that also serves lunch. Soup, salad, sandwiches.
Hokka Hokka - Sushi, cocktails, bento box lunch specials.
Refund and Pass Transfer Policy
If you test positive for Covid-19 during the ten days prior to the workshop, we will refund your registration. Please email philabalphia@gmail.com if you need to request a Covid-19 refund. We will not give pass refunds for any other reason, but we are happy to process pass transfers if you wish to transfer your pass to another person.
